This smaller event in Vienna included a special screening of the posthumous documentary BigasxBigas (2017), shown in Austria for the first time, with an introductory talk by Prof Santiago Fouz Hernández (Durham University, UK) and an introduction and Q&A with documentary co-director Santiago Garrido Rúa. The discussion was chaired by Dr Esther Gimeno Ugalde (University of Vienna).
The event was hosted by the Instituto Cervantes Viena on 16 May 7-9.30pm and generously sponsored by the University of Vienna, Durham University and the Instituto Cervantes Vienna.
